FAQ

What method of payment do you support?
Top Up Nigeria supports the following payment types

-Visa (Verified By Visa)
-MasterCard (MasterCard SecureCode)
-Maestro (MasterCard SecureCode)
-Interswitch ATM card
What is Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode and why does your site ask me to register my credit card?
Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode are secure payment systems developed by Visa and MasterCard for safer online transactions. They are simple to use, and available to make your shopping over the internet safer when using a debit or credit card.

When registering for these services you would be asked to choose a PIN for use when making a purchase over the internet at a participating retailer.

If you have not already registered your card for Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode you may be prompted to register while you shop online.

If you do not want to register whilst shopping, you should contact your bank or register your cards via your card issuer’s website as soon as possible.
Why does your site go to a Barclaycard website for credit card payments?
Top Up Nigeria uses Barclays Bank for our credit card processing as it has the highest levels of credit card security currently available.
Why was my payment declined?
Your payment may have been declined because:
-You are not registered for Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode.
-You did not enter the correct PIN for your Visa, MasterCard or Maestro payment. Note that no PIN, no confirmation, no purchase.
-You may have used a credit card that is not supported by our payment processing system e.g. American Express, Solo.
